Six high school friends reconnect after 10 years via a popular social networking website. Eager to unwind from the trials and tribulations of everyday life, the group plans a weekend getaway to reunite.
Each friend represents a different aspect of faith: they range from a backslider who claims he will return to church after he's done "having fun," to one who finds comfort in committing her life to Christ while healing from a broken relationship.
The fun-filled weekend takes a dramatic turn when the group encounters a life changing event that forces them to evaluate their lives and determine whether they have lived according to God's Word. But is it too late?
Are You Ready is a play based on the book, "Are You Ready?", by Edward Cook Jr. This production is a thought-provoking, inspirational, and self-reflecting ride designed to make you laugh, cry, and ultimately identify yourself and where you are in life. It highlights reconciliation through God's love and his willingness to meet you right where you are.
